International Attendees as FurcoNZ Hotel

First off - thank you for considering FurcoNZ for your trip! We're super excited to welcome international attendees to our event!

Getting Here

Most international arrivals to New Zealand come through Auckland International Airport - conveniently, exactly where FurcoNZ Hotel is located! Some flights may also come into other large airports around New Zealand. In that case, you'll need an onward domestic flight to Auckland.

Citizens of most countries can come to NZ under an electronic travel authorisation, rather than a full visa. You can check at the official NZ immigration website which option you need.

Payment for FurcoNZ

Our Earlybird tickets are paid at time of registration

For non-Earlybird tickets, you can pay your ticket immediately or choose to pay it off over time.

We primarily accept Credit/Debit Cards and NZ Bank Transfer. For international attendees, Credit/Debit Cards are the recommended approach. PayPal is not supported except by very special arrangement - if you cannot perform a credit card payment, please contact us after booking to discuss options.

Payments in General

NZ businesses primarily accept electronic payments. You may see this referred to as EFTPOS - this is a NZ specific payment network that works similarly to debit cards. The majority of EFTPOS machines at shops will accept overseas debit/credit cards, however we strongly recommend carrying a small amount of NZ dollars at all times to avoid issues if they don't work!

Signature-only credit cards are often not supported - we recommend a chip-and-pin or paywave/contactless card.
